Eleonora Nucciarelli - Tourist Guide in Florence and Tuscany

Florence in one day

Make the most of your Florence Experience with a full day tour of Florence and the Uffizi Gallery.

Our itinerary covers the main historical sights of the city centre and the masterpieces of the Uffizi Gallery. It ends with a short walk along the left bank of the Arno River, where we can enjoy some ice cream or a glass of wine in a cosy Florentine neighbourhood.

Piazza della Signoria, Florence

Starting from your hotel or apartment, we will explore the heart of the town as well as historical areas like Santa Croce or Santa Maria Novella. We will be able to follow the development of Florentine arts from the Middle Ages to Early Renaissance by visiting key historic sights, including: Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, dominated by Brunelleschi’s innovative dome, the Baptistery, praised by Dante Alighieri, and Giotto’s elegant Bell tower.

In Piazza della Signoria, the seat of local power for over seven centuries, we will have a closer look at Florence’s history and the Medici Family’s rise to power.

In the Uffizi Gallery, we will acquaint ourselves with the masterpieces of Italian painting. While walking through three centuries of art history, we will be focusing on the subjects, techniques and styles, as well as on the biographies of the key artists.
