Eleonora Nucciarelli - Tourist Guide in Florence and Tuscany

I was born in the ancient Etruscan town of Perugia, in Umbria, the heart of Italy. I spent my childhood surrounded by historical sights and green hills. My father, a university professor of Linguistics and History of Art, taught me to love art and Tuscany, the region of my paternal grandparents. From my mother, a physician and passionate traveller, I inherited the interest in getting to know other cultures, especially those of Eastern European, the homeland of my maternal grandfather.

I graduated in foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Pisa and after living abroad for some time I settled down in Florence. I worked ad an Italian language teacher and a translator, before deciding to begin a professional career in the tourism industry.

In 2003 I passed the required exam to become a licensed tourist guide and I have been working since then with both leisure and business travellers from all over the world. I can work in five languages: English, Russian, Polish, Spanish and Italian. It is my immense pleasure to guide travellers through their discovery of Florence, Siena, Pisa and their respective surroundings, sharing both my knowledge and my love for this region with them.
